Highlights from the New York Golf Day
Celebrating a friendship with our favourite drinking hole in New York; The Flower Shop.
Events • Collaboration • NYC
It feels like only yesterday we had our first golf outing in NYC, hard to believe we are celebrating our second. In true NYC fashion the bus picked up the patrons and headed across the George Washington to the New York Country Club showing up fashionably late. Filled with happy and eager faces, everyone walked into what could only be described as heaven.
Pyramids of fresh golf balls on the range, mountains on 7th St Burgers being freshly smashed on the grill and ice cold Mezcal Campante being served. Everyone loosened up their swings, filled their stomachs before grabbing a couple Fat Tires and finding their golf carts. The race was on to find your allocated hole and start the birdie train. The course was in the best condition of its life, greens were impeccable and the fairways were like carpet, NYCC truly showed up for us this year.
You could hear the birdies falling in from everywhere, groups screaming with excitement as they dropped their scores into the Fairgame app. After the scores were tallied and winners announced everyone gathered around the 18th green for the annual LA Golf putting competition.
This year's 60 foot downhill screamer was seemingly impossible until golfers rolled in putts one after the other forcing a four man play off to end the day with a bang. Spirits were high as the bus entered the heart of New York and the party continued at The Flower Shop long into the night.
Huge thank you to our sponsors for contributing and everyone that came out on the day and enjoyed a day of golf with us, can’t wait to see all again next year.
